Steve Jobs, when he was alive he was one of the richest and most powerful men in this world. The movie documentary would have lead you otherwise. Coming in at only 7th in box office ratings with a gross of only 7.3 million dollars nationally, this movie was somewhat disappointing for a movie expecting to be number 1 in the box office.
The Martian starring matt damon came in first with a gross of 166 million dollars worldwide. in second place goosebumps, in third place bridge of spies starring tom hanks, in fourth place last witch hunter starring vin diesel. Paranormal activity: the ghost dimension did very poor due to only being screened in half of the movie theaters the franchise is used to. This group of movies was projected to do very well and gross much higher but critics and viewers were not having it.
The issue that is currently trending is the lack of attention paid into these movies. Instead of making movies I feel the people producing the movie are more interested in making money. Instead of making a cinematic masterpiece they want to hear the change in their pockets jingle. This has definitely been a huge issue to the point where it is very transparent that they want just enough shots to make a good commercial so the customers will buy a ticket, they don't care if you stay for the whole thing.
This is especially seen in the Paranormal activity franchise, They have been making the same movie for years now, the accurate plot to all the movies is this: a poltergeist makes it way into someone's life and becomes increasingly more relevant until it kills you, the end. It was a very innovative idea when the first movie came out but they are really milking it without trying to add too much pizzazz to the movie, or even advance the plot to the franchise. they are keeping it very slow to put out as much movies as possible. But after this flop they better make some changes or they won't just be filming ghosts, they will be the ghosts.
